If you provide respiratory protective equipment (RPE) to your employees then it is essential that you have documentary evidence to show the RPE fits the wearer. By subjecting each wearer to a face-fit test you can be sure that your organisation is fulfilling the requirements laid out in the Health & Safety Executives (HSE) guidance note HSE 282/28.
This course aimed at operatives, supervisors and managers who are required to wear RPE in the work place and require Face Fit Testing using Qualitative Fit Test Methods to ensure the wearer is protected against common respiratory hazards in the workplace.
This training/ Face Fit Testing is either a 1 day or a 1/2 day conducted by a trained and competent person and can be done anywhere in the UK for a maximum of 12 candidates (1 Day) or 6 candidates (1/2 Day).
On completion of the Face Fit Testing each candidate will receive a personal record of the results of the test which will demonstrate that the RPE is correctly fitted to the wearer and gives the protection required.
